For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light. Psalm 36:9
While the essentials of the Christian faith are simple, the Bible is a book where one can get bogged down trying to understand it alone (Acts 8:30-35). To assist in studying the Bible together, this site collects study questions and guides for discussion groups how the Bible itself might be used to also find answers to questions.
Reading and interpreting Scripture together in the light of Scripture is not for sports. Jesus once censured theologians that they searched the Old Testament but ignored what it was all about, namely to lead them to faith in him (Jn 3:10-11; 5:39-40).
Too often, the Bible remains sealed and even confusing, especially when we do not let it say what it actually says in its context because of our own agendas (2Cor 3:14). By contrast, wherever its witness about God’s work through Jesus is heard and embraced, the Bible inspires faith, hope and love, uniting believers with one another in Christ himself (1Cor 13:13; Eph 4:11-16; 1Thes 5:8-28). For beholding Jesus we shall be transformed into his likeness (2Cor 3:18).
